We Want Your Ideas: A Holiday TapeSwell Giveaway

We are in a festive mood here at TapeSwell and we want to share the joy. We are giving away two prizes of $20.00 in TapeSwell decorative tape, mailing labels or envelope wraparounds of your choice. We also want to get some new ideas for tape patterns you'd like to see in 2010.

  1. Would love to see kid based designs. Alphabet blocks, sandbox toys, farmyard animals, sight words, simple math equations. Anything the kids could identify or solve before opening a box.

    herringbone
    chevron
    houndstooth
    leaves
    snowflakes
    anything inspired by the works of Matthew Ritchie and Ellen Gallagher
    Anything inspired by the spice of life jars from the 70's.

    Old handwriting, like from letters,
    Newspaper Headlines from the past, Letters to Santa, perfume type labels, icons old and new and religious, lace,heatbeats like from an EKG machine with a red graph background and black for the spiky heart beats.

    handwriting
    clocks
    scales/measurements
    vintage magazine ads
    sewing patterns
    street signs (stop, yield etc.)
    feet/footprints
    tribal/ethnic masks
    anything grungy, like make the sides look torn up
    dry brush paint look

  27. I want clear tape with a row of staple, snaps, or hooks and eyes, so it looks like that's what's keeping a package shut. Some sew stitches would be cool, like it were sewn shut. I am also a fan of circle, circles, and more circles. A row of chocolates in their little paper cups? Cupcakes? And Clovers!

  30. I'd love to see foil or metallic tapes (solid colors or designs), glitter, Stars, bows, also maybe some foil tapes with a embossed design be it baroque curls so that its raised off the tape or some fabric tape in various designs just some tapes with texture to it.

  32. Hmm, many of my ideas have already been said but I'll say them anyway.

    Damask designs in different colours.
    Anything vintage (maybe from old card postales or magazine ads).
    Owls (MANY!In many different colours and designs).
    Handwriting of famous quotes.
    Patterns of stitching in many different colours.
    Peacocks & peacock's feathers in a row.
    More and different lace designs.
    i think I could go on forever.

  33. I would love to see some patterns done in turqoise and orange. I love this color combination, maybe a clear tape that looks like indian jewelry with cabochons connected by link chain so it looks like one long necklace or bracelet. That would be cool!!
    I also love the idea of fleur di lis and powerlines.

  35. Would be nice to work with international illustrators and place their work in your beautiful tapes! You could even ask for a drawing specially made for Tapeswell! And it could be made in limited time only packages! After all: Great ideas comes in small packages!

    A cooking theme would be great - herbs, or utensils, etc.
    Always love owls - or a nature theme.
    A pink ribbon (for breast cancer awareness) would be lovely as well!
